DESCRIPTION OF POWER DELEGATED                                                    LEGISLATION

Power, as the operator of a levyable waste disposal site, to carry out Sections 67, 68
volumetric surveys, ensure volumetric surveys are carried out, and give the and 69
chief executive copies of the results of the volumetric surveys as required by
sections 67, 68 and 69.
Power, as the operator of a levyable waste disposal site, to give the chief       Section 72
executive a waste data return.
Power, as the operator of a levyable waste disposal site, to keep the             Section 72A
documents stipulated in section 72A.
Power, as the operator of a levyable waste disposal site, to apply to the chief Section 72C
executive to enter a waste levy instalment agreement, and enter the
agreement.
Power, as the operator of a levyable waste disposal site, to apply to the chief Section 72D
executive for an amendment of a waste levy instalment agreement, and
enter the amendment agreement.
Power, as the operator of a levyable waste disposal site, to apply to the chief   Section 72G
executive for an extension of time to pay a waste levy amount.
Power, as the operator of a levyable waste disposal site, to apply to the chief Section 72H
executive for an extension of time to submit a waste data return and pay a
waste levy amount.
Power, as the operator of a levyable waste disposal site where the chief Section
executive has decided an estimated waste levy amount under section 72J, 72J(3)(c)
to adjust the waste levy amount payable if a different amount is decided
under a review of the chief executive’s decision on the estimated waste levy
amount.
Power, as the operator or former operator of a waste disposal site who is         Section 72L
eligible for a bad debt credit, to apply to the chief executive for relief.
Power to respond to a notice from the chief executive requiring further           Section 72M(1)
reasonable information or documents about the application for a bad debt
credit.
Power to agree with the chief executive about extending the time for Section 72M(2)
providing the further information or documents.
Power, as the operator of a waste disposal site, to declare an area within the Sections 72R
site as a resource recovery area by giving the chief executive notice of a and 72S
proposed resource recovery area.
Power, as the operator of a waste disposal site with a resource recovery Section 72U
area, to amend the declaration as a resource recovery area by giving the
chief executive notice of the proposed amendment.
Power, as the operator of a waste disposal site with a resource recovery Section 72V
area, to cancel the declaration as a resource recovery area by giving the
chief executive notice of the proposed cancellation.
