Noosa Parade, Noosa Heads and described as Lot 32 on N21854
Applicant: Ogilvie Bacon Partnership
The outdoor dining area, associated restaurants and park create a focal point for the area by providing
convenience goods as well a dining facilities for tourists and residents. The scale of the uses on the site
are consistent with the adjoining commercial activities and service the surrounding area.
t) For the Open Space Recreation Zone-areas of open space contribute to the desired lifestyle of
residents by offering a variety of passive and active recreational experiences that are conducive to
community interaction and wellbeing;
The proposed use of the park for commercial dining provides a complimentary experience for users of
the park by enabling patrons to passively enjoy the visual amenity of the park. The dining areas do not
limit the use of the park for recreational purposes and enhances the potential for community interaction.
