Ecological Assessment Report
Attached to the e-mail MCU16/0081 Bushfire report, Survey, Ecological Assessment Report Email 2 of 3.
J000202-002-R-Rev1 June 2016
Overall, the Biodiversity Planning Assessment identifies the vegetation and habitat immediately surrounding
the Site (Noosa National Park and vegetation mapped as RE: 12.9-10.1) as:
Very High Habitat values
High Ecosystem values
Very High based on tract size
High ecosystem diversity
These values are mapped as associated with the surrounding area and not the proposed development site.
However, a number of these values are likely present within the Site.
7.1.4 DEHP Regional Ecosystem Biodiversity Status
The DEHP RE mapping provided details of vegetation associations mapped in accordance with Nelder et al.
(2012) within the Site and immediate surrounding area. Additionally, the report outlines the biodiversity
status of the mapped vegetation.
RE mapping of the Site is summarised in Table 3 of the report (Appendix E) and in Table 1, below:

The RE mapping indicates that remnant vegetation is located on the eastern boundary of the Site to the east
of the powerline easement. Vegetation within the Site is considered non-remnant. RE 12.9-10.1 mapping is
presented in Plate 2, below.
