The Sole and Specialised list of suppliers aligns to all five (5) Corporate Plan Themes, allowing for the
engagement of these suppliers to support a diverse range of projects through the provision of
goods/services across the Noosa Shire.

      That Council note the report by the Procurement & Contracts Advisor to the Services &
      Organisation Committee Meeting dated 11 October 2022 and
      A. Adopt the amended Sole Supplier list provided at Attachment 1 to the report for the next
      twelve (12) months; and
      B. Adopt the amended Specialised Supplier list provided at Attachment 2 to the report for the
      next twelve (12) months.

Risk & Opportunities
There is risk associated with not having these lists available to Council for the engagement of
sole/specialised services in a timely manner. Additionally, the ongoing availability of these lists by
resolution (amended annually), reduces Council’s risk of breaching regulations relating to the
establishment of medium and large sized contracts.
