PLANNING & ENVIRONMENT COMMITTEE MEETING AGENDA 7 FEBRUARY 2017

Furthermore, amendments to the QDC no longer require the provision of rainwater storage tanks
for detached houses. Therefore this condition is inconsistent with State legislation.
Staging of Works – Condition 50
Applicants requested change
To allow for staged construction work within the Pine Street reserve the applicant proposes that
Stage 8 be sub-staged into Stage 8A (comprising proposed Lots 63-68 & 72-76) and Stage 8B
(comprising proposed Lots 69-71).
Assessment
The sub-staging of Stage 8 is a minor alteration to the existing approved staging of the
development, However the sub-staging of works in the road reserve is not considered to be a
practical outcome.
The road works required by Conditions 65.1.6 and 65.1.7 traverses stages 8A and 8B. To ensure
that these works are not completed in a piecemeal manner it is considered reasonable to require
their completion prior to the Plan Sealing of Stage 8A.
Accordingly Conditions 65.1.6 and 65.1.7 will be amended to include a requirement that these
works must be completed prior to Plan Sealing of Stage 8A.
