Finance & Risk

The Land for Wildlife program 2016/17 has been budgeted for. Operating costs in 2017/18 are
estimated to be $7,700. This risk of not signing the MoU jeopardises the well-recognised LfW
environmental program which equates in loss of community partnerships and community
engagement in the program. If left unsigned, Council is not allowed to deliver the LfW program,
related services and products to nearly 300 Noosa LfW members. Currently LfW supports
conservation and good land management on private properties.
