RECOMMENDATION
That Council note the report by the Community Facilities Manager to the General Committee
meeting dated 15 February 2021 and award separable portions 1 and 2 of tender 2021T081 to
R&R McKindlay Trust, trading as Ecovia, through to 30 June 2022, with an option for 3 x 12 month
renewals to the contract upon expiration of the initial contract period.



REPORT
This report outlines the tender process for the provision of cleaning services for the Noosa
Community Support (NCS) Centre and also for domestic assistance cleaning in NCS clients’
homes. These services were procured by a tender compromising two separable portions for the
respective services and it is recommended that Council awards the tender to R&R McKindlay Trust,
trading as Ecovia, for both separable portion 1 (NCS Centre cleaning) and separable portion 2
(domestic assistance cleaning).

1.   Tender Process

An invitation to tender was publicly advertised by Council via Council’s website, Newscorp’s digital
classifieds and Noosa Today print edition on 19 November 2020. All suppliers intending to lodge
a tender response were provided the opportunity to attend a site inspection and information session
on 24 November 2020.

2.   Tender Assessment

Eight (8) conforming tenders were received and the tender evaluation panel carried out an
assessment of these submissions from the following suppliers:
