SPECIALIST PROFESSION ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE Restoration Ecologist ° Supervising and monitoring the implementation of the Ecological! Restoration Plan Undertaking the required quantitative analysis to monitor the ecological progress of the restored areas. © holding tertiary qualifications in plant ecology, forestry, agricultural science, or equivalent, from a tertiary institute, with specialist training and/or qualifications in ecological restoration; and ° having at least 5 years experience in preparing, implementing and monitoring Ecological Restoration Plans. Ecological Restoration Contractor Implement the Ecological Restoration Plan and undertake the required monitoring and maintenance for up to 4 years after practical completion. At least 5 years experience in successfully undertaking broadscale ecological restoration work including the fulfilment of 4 year maintenance requirements, or similar relevant skills and experience that are acceptable to Council.
