EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
This report provides a recommendation for the appointment of the preferred contractors for the
cleaning of public open spaces and amenities.

RECOMMENDATION
That Council note the report by the Civil Operations Manager to the General Committee Meeting
dated 14 August 2017 and:
A.                       Award tender 1617T113 for Cleaning of Public Open Space and Amenities to the following
                         contractors:

B.                       Award tender 1617T113 for Cleaning of Public Open Space and Amenities for an initial
                         period of three (3) years, with options to extend the contract for three (3) terms of up to
                         twelve (12) months each. Options to extend will be at Council’s sole discretion and subject
                         to Council’s review of Contractor performance under the Contract and proposed pricing.


REPORT
The contract is for the cleaning of public open space and amenities. The contractors will be
responsible for cleaning of amenities, public open spaces, and beaches, plus litter picking on
select streets and pathways.
