Finance & Risk

The 2017/18 budget be amended by $85,636 at the next budget review to cover the shortfall
under contract 1617T113, comprising contract services ($12,636) and consumables ($73,000).
This amount is to be funded from general revenue sources.

Harvent Pty Ltd t/as Total Building Maintenance - Queensland, IM Tattersall & KM Tattersall, Just
Tha Clena Pty Ltd and JK Nicholson & S Nicholson t/as Laguna Contracting Services would be
responsible for Workplace Health and Safety. It is a requirement that prior to commencing,
workplace health and safety plans will be submitted to Council for approval. Regular audits on
compliance with these approved plans will be undertaken by Council throughout the delivery of
the cleaning services.

The risk of meeting cleaning objectives is to be managed by Council under the contract.
