After the tender closed and during the evaluation of tenders, JK Nicholson & S Nicholson t/as
Laguna Contracting Services withdrew their tender for Contract Group 2, but re-confirmed their
tender submission for Contract Group 5.

The tenders were evaluated using the following criteria:
    Contract experience, track record & achievement;
    Quality;
    Health and safety;
    Environment and sustainability;
    Contribution to local economy; and
    Price.

The tender evaluation team considers the tenders from Harvent Pty Ltd t/as Total Building
Maintenance - Queensland, IM Tattersall & KM Tattersall, Just Tha Clena Pty Ltd and JK
Nicholson & S Nicholson t/as Laguna Contracting Services to be the most advantageous to
Council and presents the best value for money.

Harvent Pty Ltd t/as Total Building Maintenance - Queensland, IM Tattersall & KM Tattersall, Just
Tha Clena Pty Ltd and JK Nicholson & S Nicholson t/as Laguna Contracting Services tender
submissions are favourable as they have significant previous experience, an excellent track
record with Council, they are more than capable, and have the necessary resources to deliver
the services required in this contract. The evaluation also assessed the tenderers ability to
deliver quality services required based on the number of hours nominated to perform the
services.

Harvent Pty Ltd t/as Total Building Maintenance - Queensland, IM Tattersall & KM Tattersall, Just
Tha Clena Pty Ltd and JK Nicholson & S Nicholson t/as Laguna Contracting Services currently
provide public open space cleaning services to Council under contract, with all firms providing
excellent cleaning services to Council.

IM Tattersall & KM Tattersall, Just Tha Clena Pty Ltd and JK Nicholson & S Nicholson t/as
Laguna Contracting Services are locally owned and operated businesses in Noosa, while
Harvent Pty Ltd t/as Total Building Maintenance - Queensland is a national company based in
Brisbane with an office in Aroona (Caloundra).

The Tender provides for a percentage discount to apply to the Schedule of Rates – Annual
Pricing should a Tenderer be awarded more than one (1) Contract Group. Harvent Pty Ltd t/as
Total Building Maintenance - Queensland is recommended for Contract Group One (1) and Four
(4) and therefore a two percent (2%) discount is applied to their rates.
