Organisational Matters

Indemnity

The insurers for the Noosa Spring Hotel are to indemnify all staff members who are required
under their position description or duty statement, to participate in emergency responds
activities to protected guests and other staff members and the Noosa Springs Hotel
infrastructure.

Purpose

These Emergency Response Plan have been prepared and issued to enable the Noosa
Springs Hotel owner and manager to implement a scaled emergency response for a bushfire
emergency that may occur and threaten on the Noosa Springs Hotel.

The Emergency Response Plan seeks to be compliant with all relevant Australian
Standards, AS3745-2010 – Planning for emergencies in facilities and relevant Occupation
Health and Safety Act and Guidelines.

Scope

With regard to the above potential emergency events this Emergency Response Plan seeks
to provide guidance and response actions for all Bushfire emergency events that may occur
or threaten upon the Noosa Springs Hotel, its guests and staff as well as visitors to the
Hotel.

Incident Reporting

To assist in improving emergency responses by the Noosa Springs Hotel and the
Emergency Planning Committee, all bushfire events are to be documented and reviewed by
the Emergency Planning Committee to identify;

    1. The cause of the Emergency event
    2. The response by the Resort to the emergency event, and
    3. any areas where the response was considered to be inadequate.
