                4.4.           Providing safe passage for fauna
           The following measures will be employed throughout the site to reduce fauna habitat fragmentation,
           facilitate movement and decrease injuries and deaths inflicted by vehicles.
           Management requirements are considered

                •    At site preparation operations
                •    During design treatments and strategies in the building phase of the development.

                4.5.           Bushfire Risk

           Fire is a normal factor operating in the environment of most vegetation types occurring within the site.
           Open forests and swamp forest communities are fire tolerant and typically have a 15–30-year fire
           cycle. The site contains evidence of past fires of low to moderate intensity. However, fragmentation
           of habitat and subsequent urban development reduces the risk of fire substantially.
