5.13 Waste Management Code
76. The proposed development seeks to provide a screened refuse area onsite, in front of car park #7, as
shown in Appendix 2. The bin enclosure provides minimum 1.8 metre wide screening with a dense
landscape buffer in front that is between 5 metres and 7 metres wide. The bin store area is sufficiently
sized to accommodate recycling and general waste.

77. Bulk bins servicing the entire industrial development will be stored in the enclosure and serviced onsite
by a Waste Collection Vehicle (WCV). The driveway access has been designed to enable a WCV to stand
within the driveway for servicing and turn around onsite to exit in forward gear, in accordance with the
      planning scheme.

78. The development approval can be conditioned to require the industrial use operating onsite to comply
with the provisions of the Code, relating to storage and disposal of hazardous materials.

79. Overall, the development complies with the nominated Acceptable Outcomes of the Waste Management
      Code.

consideration as part of this application for Low Impact Industry.

The proposed development suitably complies with the
Assessment Benchmarks of the Bushfire Hazard Overlay Code.
