Repeal of current Land Protection Delegation 2015-24

Council’s Environmental Health Coordinator and Local Laws Coordinator have confirmed that
Council’s current Land Protection Delegation 2015-14, which relates to powers under the Land
Protection (Pest and Stock Route Management) Act 2002 can be repealed as relevant powers in
that delegation relating to land protection and pest management have been incorporated into
Council’s Biosecurity Act delegation on account of legislative changes.

Confirmation of current delegations not requiring changes
To avoid any doubt, the current Council delegations outlined below, which have not been reported
to Council for amendment, remain in force.
