5. Again, as there is no onsite control and being only short - term accommodation there is every likelihood for material damage to neighbouring properties. 6. There will be increased traffic in the vicinity of this property together with additional problems with on-street parking which is already at a premium. As the property at 3 Robert Street is a 4 bedroom + residence it is possible that it could be leased by 8 + people at any one time, with possibly up to 4 additional vehicles, further exacerbating an existing problem with lack of on-street car parking spaces. 7. We have lived at 2/165 Gympie Terrace now for a period of almost 6 months and have had had no problem with any badly behaved residents, both permanent and short - term holidaymakers staying at the controlled accommodation venues. Our concern is that if the application is approved, then this will most certainly change and the lifestyle we planned for will all be to no avail. 8. As we are a retired couple, our income is restricted to our superannuation pension. We outlaid our carefully planned amount for the property, after our scrutiny of the neighbourhood and felt confident that we had decided wisely for our retirement years. The Government Stamp Duty and costs of moving and re-purchasing would prohibit any choices we would be likely to have. Consequently, we strongly urge that this Development Application be rejected by Council, as it is bound to lower the quality of life for all permanent residents who live in the area. We have a legal right of quiet enjoyment of our property at 2/165 Gympie Terrace, Noosaville, and any disruptive behaviour will infringe this legal entitlement. Yours faithfully.
