Residential Aged Care Facility – 6 Grasstree Court, Sunrise Beach

Bushfire events can still occur on low-moderate, high, very high and particularly Severe fire danger
days. Whilst firefighting opportunity may be higher on these days, property and life loss can still occur
due to localised conditions.

Situational awareness should be adopted on High, Very High and, in particular, Severe danger days.

RESPONSIBILITY: The chief and deputy chief fire wardens must monitor the Rural Fire Service
Queensland website or Council’s Disaster Dashboard at regular intervals on Very High danger days
to confirm if any ignitions occur within Noosa National Park, east of Walter Hay Drive, south of David
Low Way and north of Emu Mountain Road.

                                                                               Location of the facility
