1.0        Introduction
RPS was engaged by Blue Care to provide bushfire advice and a preliminary bushfire hazard assessment in
relation to the subject site and the relevant state and local guidelines. RPS has been provided with a
Bushfire Assessment Report prepared by LandGraphics (June 2008) to accompany a development
application for a Material Change of Use; including the development of an aged care facility, serviced
apartments and independent living units.

Area                     Approximately 6.6 hectares
Zoning                   The land is currently zoned as Community Services under the Noosa Plan 2006.
Boundaries               The site is surrounded by residential subdivisions to the east, vegetation and a
                         school to the north, and vegetation to the west and south.
