If: Acid Sulfate Soils Overlay Code
(a) within Area 1 as identified on an Acid Sulfate
Soils Overlay Map and involving:
(i) excavation of 100m³ or more of material;
or
(ii) filling of land with 500m³ or more of
material; or
(b) within Area 2 as identified on an Acid Sulfate
Soils Overlay Map and involving excavation of
100m³ or more of material at or below 5
metres AHD.

may disturb acid sulfate soils and may require
assessment.
