The Rehabilitation Plans 1714-20 to 22 details that infill
planting can be undertaken in the adjacent Lomandra
Park following weed management activities. Prior to
clearing an inventory of non-juvenile trees cleared will be
undertaken, and planting to offset this loss of koala trees
will be in accordance with the Queensland Environmental
Offsets Policy, in particular:
• Establish three new koala habitat trees for every
one ‘non juvenile’ tree removed.
NOTE: This is not a requirement as the development is
not in a KAD area, but is proposed as a best practice
measure.
