The project includes the following:
▪ Clearing and grubbing to various locations
▪ Shoulder widening
▪ Construction of pavements and drainage
Due to the various work locations, all construction activity and deliveries will be contained and minimised to within
the immediate site boundary/area. Where works are to take place next to live traffic lanes, shoulder closures,
lane closures using temporary traffic signals and or controllers may be required.
2.2 Works Staging and Methodology
Works on Lake Macdonald Drive shall be completed in 1 mobilisation implementation of several TGS’ that
enable the construction of the 2 new access points to the development and also the shoulder widenings. Works
are planned to be completed in a sequential manner whilst maintaining continuity of work for work crews and
subcontractors. Similarly, Wilgee Court will be completed in a similar manner but with its own operation under
a separate set of TGS’.
Works will proceed with boundary demarcation followed by clearing of vegetation, earthworks and then
pavement construction.
