 6. Flood Zoning
The proposed site is not in a recognised flood zone according to the Noosa Regional Council
Tewantin and Doonan Natural Hazard : Landslide and Flooding Overlay (Map OM 9.3). See
Figure 6.1 below for Flood map. The map shows that there is no flood zone in close proximity
to the proposed site, therefore flooding issues do not apply to this site.
