2       LAWFUL POINT OF DISCHARGE
The subject site grades in a west to east direction towards Goodwin Street, with approximately 2.0m of
fall across both allotments.

We note that the existing dwelling will be demolished and minor earthworks will occur to accommodate
two new flat building pads with minimal retaining walls. The site will continue to convey external flows
as per pre-developed conditions.

Roof water will be discharged via new kerb adapters to Goodwin Street, flowing to existing council
stormwater infrastructure downstream within Goodwin Street.

We consider the above provides a lawful point of discharge for the development and will enable non-
worsening of peak discharges from the development to adjacent properties. Refer Contour’s Concept
design (2756-C01) for concept earthworks, retaining wall locations and roofwater kerb adapters,
attached within Appendix A.


3       SUMMARY
Based on our investigative works, we consider that Council has no impediment to the approval of this
development within the context of the driveway, crossover and/or stormwater. We therefore
recommend that Council approves the application subject to reasonable, relevant, equitable and
justifiable conditions.
