@SCSA Sunshine Coast Sports Aviators
Dear Trent,
RE: Reserve for Land Ground for Aircraft - Noosa North Shore — Lot 7 on MCH4562
| refer to the notice sent to the president of the Sunshine Coast Sports Aviators on the 7° November
regarding the State Government owned Lot 7 on MCH 4562, the Noosa North Shore aircraft landing ground
reserve. And the Department of Environment and Science (DES) wish to acquire Lot 7 for inclusion into the
surrounding National Park.
We are extremely disappointed that you received the notice from Desley McComiskie Directorate / Unit:
Lands and Surveying Services on the 11 July 2022 and you have only now asked for our views, giving us
11 days toreply. This has considerably restricted our ability to collect information and to make an
appropriate reply.

Sports Aviators on maintaining the airfield the DES in the time available
With the limited time given to reply, we strongly feel that due to the above points this land should stay with
the council. We are expecting that the council put a strong case forward to retain the rights to be the
nominated trustee of the lands, and to support the continued use of the land as an airfield.
We are expecting that we are copied into the reply to Desley McComiskie, Principal Land Officer, showing
that the Noosa Council is putting forward a case to retain the right to be the nominated trustee of Lot 7, in
turn supporting the Sunshine Coast Sports Aviators in having access to this site to continue the sport we all
love to do, fly this spectacular part of the world.
Kind Regards
Steven Beale
President Sunshine Coast Sports Aviators
