Traffic Impact Assessment
Noosa Civic Expansion
5.6.15 Intersection 15: Central Road/Eastern Undercroft Access
The intersection of Central Road/Eastern Undercroft Access is proposed to be a three-way priority controlled
intersection. The proposed Central Road will form the major north-south movement of the intersection, with
the Eastern Undercroft Access to form the western leg of the intersection. The Eastern Undercroft Access
will provide direct access to the undercroft car parking supply from the east of the development. The
proposed layout of the analysed intersection is presented on Figure 5-20. Results for the analysis are
summarised in Table 5-21. As the intersection will be constructed with the development, there are no
background traffic volumes and only development traffic volumes from 2018 are applicable to this
intersection.

The results indicate that the proposed layout has adequate capacity for the development scenarios at the
2028 design horizon.
