Traffic Impact Assessment
Noosa Civic Expansion
5.6.16 Intersection 16: Central Road/Southern At-Grade Access
The intersection of Central Road/Southern At-Grade Access is proposed to be a three-way priority controlled
intersection. The proposed Central Road will form the major north-south movement of the intersection, with
the Southern At-Grade Access to form the western leg of the intersection which will provide access to the at-
grade car parking supply east of the proposed expansion. The proposed layout of the analysed intersection
is presented on Figure 5-21. Results for the analysis are summarised in Table 5-22. As the intersection will
be constructed with the development, there are no background traffic volumes and only development traffic
volumes from 2018 are applicable to this intersection.

The results indicate that the proposed layout has adequate capacity for the development scenarios at the
2028 design horizon.
