Noise Report
• Worst-case noise criteria at receiver: acoustic quality objectives - day & evening indoor 35dB(A) (outdoor
42dBA), night indoor 30dB(A) (outdoor 37dBA).
• Room façade height: 4m
• Façade open configuration: opening of max 50% of façade (operable windows / doors)
Based on the above assumptions, Table 9 presents the predicted maximum allowable internal patron and/or
amplified sound/music levels. Calculations are included in Appendix C.

The predicted maximum allowable internal sound levels for patron and/or amplified sound/music are
expected to be adequate for operation of the function room during all time periods with the façade closed.
Function room façades may be open during the day/evening period (7am – 10pm) for:
• Patron noise and background amplified sound/music only
• Function space (southwest) to have southwest façade closed for any use
Function room façades to be closed for:
• Use of amplified sound/music during any time period (louder than background music)
• Any use during the night period (10pm – 12am)
Refer to Section 7 for recommended noise mitigation measures.
