Attached to the e-mail RFI Response, land Design Rehab Management Plan - Re: 19660 - 30 Pottery St - Request to restart the clock for decision Making period - OPW26/0033.
PROPOSED SUBDIVISION
30 Pottery Street, Pomona
Lot 496 on MCH 591 – OPW26/0033
LANDSCAPE DESIGN & REHABILITATION
MANAGEMENT PLAN
The subject site is located at 30 Pottery Street, Pomona.
The client proposes a reconfiguration of this lot into 9 lots.
This preliminary landscape design is based on drawings provided by
TOD Consulting Engineers.
Street trees are to be planted along the new road and Pottery Street at 5m
distances from centre to centre where possible. The exact locations will have
to be determined on site and shall comply with the general guidelines as
shown on Sheet LD-02. Clear sightlines are to be maintained where required.
Verges are to be turfed as indicated.
The locations of all existing and proposed underground services and
powerlines will have to be determined prior to any landscape construction
works, and the final landscaping shall not interfere with any services.
A proposed covenant area on Lot 8 encompasses an area of 7,675m2. Refer
Sheet LD-05 for associated Rehabilitation Management Plan.
The proposed planting shall enhance the visual amenity of the new
streetscape and provide shade and food sources for the wildlife.
All landscape works must apply best industry practices in landscape
horticulture.

Area Specific Treatments
Treatment Area 1 – Rehabilitation Zone (Approx. Area 7,675m2)
This area contains a high level of ecological resilience and requires minimal work to be rehabilitated. This
can be achieved by adopting the following procedure:
• Weed treatment to occur targeting all non-native species.
• Ongoing regular maintenance as per the maintenance requirements on Sheet LD-06.
Treatment Area 2 – Lomandra Buffer Planting
A Lomandra buffer is to be achieved by mass planting of Lomandra longifolia. Treatment within this area is to
proceed as follows:
• Weed treatment to occur targeting all non-native species.
• Apply a 2m wide, 100mm thick layer of aged, weed free forest mulch, along the eastern boundary as
per Figure 3.
• 2 rows of Lomandra longifolia to be installed at 1 per m2
• Plants to be installed as per Figures 1 and 2, at the densities specified in Table 4.
• Ongoing regular maintenance as per the maintenance requirements on Sheet LD-06.
