2.0      EXISTING SITE DESCRIPTION

The site is described as Lot 1 on RP203032 and is located within Noosa Shire Council and is
approximately 2028m2 in area. Access to the existing sites is off Kauri Street, which bounds the eastern
property boundaries, refer to Figure 2.1, for a locality plan and Appendix A for a detailed site survey.
The site currently contains an existing dwelling to the front portion of the site. The rear of each site is
undeveloped and covered by short grass and scattered trees.


The site generally falls from the front boundary on Kauri Street (Approx. RL 11.5–12.5 AHD) in a
western direction down towards the rear boundary (Approx. RL 108.5-107 AHD). A grassed swale runs
parallel with the southern boundary falling in a western direction. Surface grades for majority of the site
are in the order of 4-5%. A Council drainage reserve is located to the western (rear) boundary of the
site which contains an open channel.
