BULK EARTHWORKS NOTES
1. STRIP ALL TOPSOIL CONTAINING ORGANIC MATTER TO A DEPTH OF
100mm AND SPOIL TO SUITABLE STOCKPILE AREA. REMOVE RUBBLE
MATERIAL, OVERSATURATED MATERIALS, ORGANIC MATTER AND
OTHER UNSUITABLE MATERIAL FROM THE SITE.
2. EARTHWORKS ON ALLOTMENTS SHALL BE CARRIED OUT IN
ACCORDANCE WITH AUSTRALIAN STANDARDS AS3798 - GUIDELINES
ON EARTHWORKS FOR COMMERCIAL AND RESIDENTIAL
DEVELOPMENTS - COMPACTION TO 95% STANDARD (AS1289E1.1).
3. SIMILARLY, SUBGRADE COMPACTION TO 98% STANDARD
(AS1289E1.1). REMOVE ANY SOFT OR COMPRESSIBLE ZONES AND
