2.5 Pavement Design The driveway includes a 150mm compacted Type 2.1 gravel base with a sealed entry section. The pavement design is suitable for low-volume residential traffic and typical rural conditions. 2.6 Impact on Road Reserve Works within the road reserve are limited to the minimum required to construct the crossover. Disturbed areas will be rehabilitated following construction, and existing fencing will be reinstated outside the driveway extent. Levels have been designed in such a way, as to minimise cut and fill, please refer to the drawings to compare existing vs nominated levels. 2.7 Safety and Functionality The proposed access provides safe entry and exit to the site. Vehicle movements can occur without reversing onto the road, and the design supports safe operation under normal residential use. 3. Conclusion The proposed driveway crossover achieves the Performance Outcomes of the Driveways and Parking Code. It provides safe, functional, and durable access to the site while maintaining existing drainage patterns and minimising impacts to the road reserve. The development is therefore considered to comply with the Driveways and Parking Code. If you have any further enquiries regarding this matter, please contact the undersigned. Yours Faithfully, Rawdon Stanford Civil & Structural Engineer / Director B. Eng (Hons), Dip. Eng, MIE Aust, CPEng, NER, RPEQ, FESA 2
