INFORMATION RESPONSE

DEVELOPMENT APPLICATION FOR MATERIAL CHANGE OF USE FOR MULTIPLE HOUSING
TYPE 2 DUPLEX

39 DUKE STREET, SUNSHINE BEACH
LOT 387 ON RP48112

Further to Council’s Information Request for the abovementioned proposal we now respond in full to
each of the items raised.


1. Sewer Setback

The proposed building is located approximately 1m from an existing sewer line. Unitywater’s advice is
needed to confirm the required clearance between the proposed building and sewer.

Information Required
Provide the following information:
        (a) A written advice letter or email by an authorised person from Unitywater to confirm the
            required clearance between the proposed building and the existing sewer main on the
            site, and the width of any easement over the sewer line.
        (b) Amend and resubmit to Council the relevant plans to comply with Unitywater’s restrictions
            including showing the required easement on the floor plan/s.

Response:
Refer attached amended proposal plans which accurately show the location of the sewer and the
proposed building setbacks, together with email from Unitywater included in Attachment 1 confirming
the proposed setbacks comply.

2. Driveway

Additional details are required to address the design of the steep driveway.
