For the purpose of this report, the Noosa Plan 2006 will be referred to as ‘the Planning Scheme’ and the
Planning Act 2016 will be referred to as ‘the Act’. This report comprehensively addresses the merits of the
development with regard to the provisions of the Planning Scheme and other relevant matters as prescribed
in the Act. The development is appropriate, generally consistent with existing planning controls and intent for
the area and is not anticipated to impact upon the amenity of the locality. Council’s approval of the
application is therefore sought, subject to relevant and reasonable conditions.
