3. STAFFING

Linda Wylie was appointed as the NCS Team Leader Business Development and commenced in
her role on 24 August. Linda has worked for the Anglican diocese for the last 9 years and brings
a wealth of knowledge and experience to the team. Linda will support the team to enhance
business systems and ensure that NCS is compliant with all relevant policies and procedures, as
determined by the relevant funding bodies.

4. SYSTEMS, PROCESSES AND OTHER MATTERS

As referenced earlier, Council approved the name change from Noosa Community Care to
Noosa Community Support in July 2015. This change was sought to alleviate any confusion to
clients caused by Blue Care also using the term “Noosa Community Care” within the Noosa
Shire.

The NCS centre refurbishment was completed in September and has been declared an
overwhelming success by staff and clients alike. The clients enjoyed their temporary relocation to
the Noosa Pirates Rugby League Club during the works and were delighted with the lighter and
brighter surrounds upon their return. The photos below show the significant improvements made
to the centre.
