Subdivision of land is addressed under Division 23 Reconfiguring a Lot Code which establishes the
allowable allotment sizes and specifies many other detailed requirements. An overall outcome of
the code is that allotments will avoid significant adverse effects on the natural environment and
landscape and minimise the risk of hazards for people and property.

The table below is an extract from the Reconfiguring a Lot Code and sets out the minimum
allotment sizes for the residential zones of Detached Housing and Semi - attached Housing.
