   Information Required
    10. Please provide a preliminary earthworks plan that indicates the volume of fill required for the site
and where necessary (if fill volume triggers the requirement against the Acid Sulfate Soil Overlay
Code), provide an Acid Sulfate Soil Management Plan prepared by an RPEQ that provides
recommendations to address the potential risks associated with the fill works.

   Issue – Footpath Width
The submitted plan only indicates a small portion of the footpath being replaced at the existing width.
The current Noosa Planning Scheme and Councils standard drawings require footpaths along
Distributor roads to be at a width of 3.0m desirable or 2.0m minimum.
   Information Required
    11. With existing features restricting the width of the verge area available for a 3.0m wide footpath,
please amend the engineering plan/s to include a 2.0m wide footpath across the frontage of the
        development.

Response
Responses to the above matters are as follows:
8. Refer to the updated vehicle turnpaths included on the updated engineering drawings that
    accompany this response.
9. The property to the south at 8 Pipi Crescent, Noosaville currently achieves a lawful point of discharge
through kerb adaptor to Pipi Crescent which is clearly visible via Google Street View. The whole site
should have been profiled to fall towards the frontage at the subdivision phase though as detailed
survey information is not available it is agreed that small volumes of nuisance runoff may reach the
development site. As a result all fill walls are proposed to be offset 150mm off the property
boundaries to allow this small volume of runoff to pass along the base of the wall within the
development site out to Weyba Rd.
10. The fill volume has now been included on the updated engineering drawings that accompany this
response. As the calculated volume is below 500m3 it does not trigger an acid sulphate soils
    investigation.
11. The requested 2.0m wide footpath has been added to the updated engineering drawings that
    accompany this response.
