6.0 CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS

Lambert & Rehbein (SEQ) Pty Ltd has been commissioned by Denmac Nominees Pty Ltd to
develop a conceptual Stormwater Management Plan for a proposed Energy Centre at 140–142
Eumundi Noosa Road, Noosaville. The site is located within the Noosa Council Local
Government Area.

Based on the XPStorm modelling results for the project, the proposed detention tank detailed in
this report will satisfy Noosa Council requirements for stormwater detention by attenuating peak
flows for all design storms up to and including a Q100 storm. The required stormwater attenuation
will be provided via a detention tank located under the service station shop totalling 34m3.

Stormwater quality treatment has been provided for the site. Stormwater gully filter baskets and
filter cartridges located within the detention tank will meet the required water quality objectives.

A conceptual civil engineering plans are enclosed in Appendix C of this report to illustrate
anticipated stormwater management for the proposed development. It should be noted that these
plans are preliminary only and will be subject to confirmation during detailed design.

Lambert & Rehbein considers that the proposed stormwater detention and quality treatment
measures detailed in this report will satisfy Noosa Council stormwater management requirements
for the proposed development. Further, Lambert & Rehbein has not identified any stormwater
drainage constraints that, in our opinion, should preclude approval of the development by Noosa
Council.
