5.0 MAINTENANCE

Listed below are the water quality maintenance protocols proposed by Lambert & Rehbein for the
Stormwater360 gross pollutant filters (EnviroPods) and mechanical filtration cartidges
(Stormfilters). Existing local authority maintenance protocols should be adhered to, in conjunction
with the suggestions in this report.

5.1 STORMWATER360 ENVIROPODS AND MECHANICAL FILTRATION
        SYSTEM
The primary purpose of the stormwater treatment train is to filter out and prevent pollutants from
entering our waterways. Like any effective filtration system, periodically these pollutants must be
removed to restore the system to its full efficiency and effectiveness. Maintenance requirements
and frequency are dependent on the pollutant load characteristics of each site. Maintenance must
be performed in accordance with Stormwater360’s Operation & Maintenance Guidelines attached
in Appendix G to ensure the ongoing effectiveness of the proposed treatment devices.
Should an alternative equivalent mechanical treatment system be proposed during construction
the procedures for the ongoing maintenance of the alternative system should be provided.
