6.4      INTERIM ORGANISATIONAL STRUCTURE

         Council Resolution

         Moved:                    Cr Abbot
         Seconded:                 Cr Bolton

         That Council note the report by the Acting Chief Executive Officer to the Ordinary Meeting
         dated 2 January 2014 and:

         1.     Adopt the Interim Organisational Structure as attached to the report; and

         2.     Delegate authority to the Acting Chief Executive Officer to manage all related staff
                matters.


Finance & Risk
This proposal will provide a direct budget saving of approximately $680,000. There are no
redundancy costs incurred.         Savings come primarily from eliminating vacant positions,
particularly in administrative and management levels.

Nil.

Internal Consultation
Detailed consultation has been held with all of the Interim Directors and many of the Interim
Managers. Further, during the review process, over 45 written staff submissions were provided
to the CEO which were reviewed.
