Design Improvements                                     Design improvements to infrastructure or services can be
                                                        engineered to provide a greater level of resilience. Design
                                                        improvements can be applied to new infrastructure or to
                                                        harden existing infrastructure or when considering betterment
                                                        works during the reconstruction phase. Ensuring the
                                                        reliability of critical infrastructure and services supports the
                                                        communities social and economic wellbeing.
