The new rooflines will ensure the church and its pitched roof are still visible and obvious as the heritage items. However there are details which will be required for the proposed changes and need to be considered in relation to heritage. For example –retention of church windows, retention of altar area and its timber decorative arch (is this still in situ?), materials and colours for the new builds and the recommendation of a heritage interpretation sign at the carport with information regarding the property is the former St Lukes church of England, constructed in 1926 and deconstructed in 2021. Just let me know if you wish to discuss any further aspects, however, please note also that I’ll be away for the month of January 2026.
