Audited Annual Financial Statements
Tourism Noosa have provided a copy of their annual audited financial statements each year
since 2015. This allows for some consideration of trends over time in terms of financial analysis.
The following are of interest:
Revenue Growth and Mix
Since 2015 revenue has grown from $2.3 million to $3.3 million, an increase of $1 million or 42%.
This revenue growth has resulted from increases in the levy of $788k or 45% (resulting from
funding being redirected to Tourism Noosa previously allocated to other parties - i.e. Sunshine
Coast Destinations Limited, Triathlon sponsorship) and increases in other revenue sources of
$186k or 35% (relating to membership fees and marketing increases of $76k and $55k
respectively, and special project revenues of $106k in 2018/19). Booking centre revenues
continue to decline with another $19k drop across financial years (or a $46k or 20% decrease
since 2015 likely due to technology disruption).
