Dear Sir/Madam

           Re: MCU21/0027 & OPW21/0047 ~ Lot 4 RP72986, 30 & 32 James Street, Noosaville

We refer to Noosa Council’s Information Request dated 9 March 2021 and respond to the engineering matters as
follows:-

Issue 3-5 - Stormwater

SCG Consulting Engineers drawing No: 31026-C1.RevA ‘Stormwater Relocation Plan’, provides details of the
works for the proposed relocation of Council’s stormwater infrastructure. We have amended our plans to show a
pipe long-section and a new 4m wide easement (copy attached).

With the survey information provided by Max Watterson & Associates dated July 2016 we can confirm the
proposed stormwater management plan detailed in SCG Drawing No. 31026-SW1.RevA will not cause any
worsening of existing stormwater conditions to the neighbouring properties or increased runoff into the road
reserve.

SCG Consulting Engineers drawing No: 31026-SW1.1 ‘Stormwater Management Plan’ does not make reference
to PVC kerb adaptors. Galvanised (RHS) kerb adaptors have been proposed as per Council requirements.

Issue 6 - Earthworks

The proposed works include filling of the site to satisfy the minimum habitable floor level of RL 2.70 AHD. We
have provided a typical retaining wall/fence detail, please refer to architectural plans for proposed fencing and
heights.

Issue 8 – Acid Sulphate Soils

As the Civil and Structural Engineers for the project we can confirm a Geotechnical Engineer has been engaged
to conduct acid sulphate soils (ASS) investigation and an ASS Management Plan in the case ASS are
encountered. The current turnaround timeframes are greater than 6 weeks. We kindly ask Noosa Council if this
can be conditioned prior to conducting a pre-start meeting.

Yours faithfully
