              5.3.3     Bushfire Overlay



              It is acknowledged that the subject
              site    comprises        areas     of    High
              Potential Bushfire Intensity and
              Potential       Impact          Buffer     in
              accordance with Noosa Council’s
              Bushfire Overlay Map. Please refer
              to     the     Plan     of    Development
              attached at Appendix C which
              demonstrates sufficient setbacks
              between the High Potential Bushfire Intensity areas and the proposed building
              envelopes. In addition, it is noted that there will be an adequate supply of water
              available for firefighting purposes.




              5.3.4     Flood Hazard Extents Overlay



              It is acknowledged that the subject
              site is included within Flood Hazard
              Extents overlay of the Noosa Plan.
              Please       refer to    the     Engineering
              Report and Preliminary Earthworks
              Plan prepared by Tod Consulting
              Pty Ltd (attached at Appendix D
              and     Appendix         E     respectively),
              which        demonstrate          how      the
              proposed development will address and mitigate the impacts of potential flooding
              events.
