Attached to the e-mail Reconfiguration of a Lot (1 Lot into 4 Lots) - RAL17/0504.
5.3.1 Acid Sulfate Soils Overlay
It is acknowledged that the subject
site is included within the High
Potential Acid Sulfate Area 0-5m
AHD, in accordance with the Acid
Sulfate Soils Overlay Map. Please
refer to the Engineering Report and
Preliminary Earthworks Plan
prepared by Tod Consulting Pty Ltd
(attached at Appendix D and
Appendix E respectively) which demonstrate the extent of the proposed earthworks.
It is considered that potential acid sulfate soils won’t be disturbed, as extensive
excavation works are not proposed onsite. In this regard, it is acknowledged that a
report will be required to address the issue of potential acid sulfate soils due to the
low-lying nature of the subject site. This report will be provided during the
Information & Referral Stage of the development application process.
5.3.2 Biodiversity Overlay
It is acknowledged that the subject
site includes land within the
Environmental Protection Area, in
accordance with the Biodiversity
Overlay Map. However, the
proposed development does not
involve the clearing of vegetation in
this area and as such, this overlay
does not impact on the
development.
