Of the weed species recorded on site, species currently declared under the Land Protection (Pest
and Stock Route Management) Act 2002 included Groundsel (Baccharis halimifolia), which is
classified as a Class 2 declared plant as well as Camphor Laurel (Cinnamomum camphora) and
Singapore Daisy (Sphagneticola trilobata) (refer Plate 4), which are classified as Class 3

declared plants. Class 2 declared plants are established in Queensland and could have an adverse
