Field Survey
During the field assessment undertaken on the 12" September 2005, a number of opportunistic

fauna sightings were recorded with a list of observed species provided in the following Table.

Of those noted, all species were considered to be well adapted to foraging on the site on an

intermittent basis. Plate 6 below shows a pair of Eastern Grey Kangaroos identified on site.

Of additional consideration, a number of scratch marks were observed on some of the larger
eucalypts which indicated the presence of Koalas (Phascolarctos cinereus) within the area (refer
Plate 7). While the site may not represent critical habitat for this species, the presence of some of

the larger eucalypts may be of assistance in the species’ migration through the area.
