LSA Ref: 45-021 » zp 2 a locate the mains in a common trench arrangement wherever suitable is currently also being discussed with both Noosa Council and Department of Main Roads. The utilisation of the common trench arrangement will result in overall cost savings for the supply of these services to the subdivision. Details of the proposed route are shown in LSA Drawing No. 45021-C04 included as Figure 4. ELECTRICITY AND TELECOMMUNICATIONS Electricity and telecommunications facilities already exist on site. Preliminary discussions are being carried out with Energex regarding the relocation of the high and low voltage lines traversing the property from west to east. It is proposed that the 33kV line is extended along the northern boundary of the parkland set aside as vegetation buffer (in the vicinity of proposed Lots 2 — 6), and then in a north easterly direction to the location of the existing power pole P192347 within the Holts Road reserve. From this point, the high voltage line will extend back to Poly P19562-A to resume the existing alignment (refer to LSA Drawing No. 45021-C06 included as Figure 6). The lower voltage (11k¥V) line will be conveyed underground from the common boundary of proposed Lots 5 and 6 until intersecting with the new cul-de-sac where it will veer northwards to a pad mounted transformer located above the battle axe handle extending to proposed Lot 1 (refer to LSA Drawing No. 45021-C06 included as Figure 6), Design details relating to the proposed relocation will be included as part of the development application for operational works. It is envisaged that sufficient capacity exists in the Telstra network to service the proposed development. STORMWATER DRAINAGE An underground drainage system will be constructed within the cul-de-sac and will drain stormwater runoff to Holts Road. Inter-allotment drainage will be necessary on several allotments. All runoff from the new allotments will be diverted through a stormwater quality treatment train and discharged into the dam in the south eastern corner of the site. The existing dam will be enlarged marginally to increase its current detention capacity in order to ensure no increase in outflows as a result of the development. The controlled outflow will outlet into the existing creek system extending under Holts Road and the Bruce Highway. 14 November 2005 Department of State Development, Trade and Innovation Page: 38 Planning Report
