PLANNING & ORGANISATION COMMITTEE MEETING AGENDA 19 AUGUST 2014

2. Capital Project Carryovers Proposed

There is a total of $1,264,000 in proposed capital project carryovers, relating to 19 individual
projects, ranging in value from $10,500 to $430,800. Attachment 1 provides a detailed
explanation as to the reasons why these projects were not completed and/or the extent of works
to be undertaken.

Previous Council Consideration

There were changes made to the original 2013/2014 budget by resolution at the Ordinary
Meeting held 29 May 2014, following consideration at the General Committee held 26 May 2014.

Finance & Risk

Operating carryovers will impact on the operational budget through the inclusion of expenditure
($37,545) without any additional revenue, with the funds having been received during the
2013/2014 financial year.

Capital carryovers do not impact on the operating position, and nor will they impact on the
forecast financial position, as the projects were initially anticipated to be complete by 30 June
2014.
