REPRESENTATIONS ON DECISION NOTICE

Further to Council’s Decision Notice issued for the above development application, we make
the following representations in regard to Council’s approval:

Condition 14
This condition reads as follows:
       ”There must be no electrical reticulation system carrying electricity in excess of 24 volts
       beyond the revetment wall unless all switches and power outlets are positioned above
       the 1% AEP flood level”
Comment
The condition relates to electrical reticulation being provided above the 1% AEP flood level
where positioned past the revetment wall. This condition is generally applied to residential
pontoons and jetties and seems to have been included as a general condition and hasn’t
considered the commercial use (office, which is powered) and fuel bowser at the end of the
structure. On this basis we request that the condition be deleted.


Condition 22
This condition reads as follows:
       “To ensure the safety of persons accessing the approved works and to prevent
       environmental harm, a safety audit of the on-site fuel storage tanks, bowsers and
       associate pipework, valves, vents and systems shall be conducted by a suitably
       qualified professional and submitted to Council for approval prior to the use of the new
       works (pontoon/jetty extensions).
       The audit shall demonstrate that the fuel systems are in a safe and serviceable
       condition or, where necessary, identify repair and rectification requirements to meet the
